From fire brigades to defibrillators to sports equipment – a donation programme for PKV employees has also brought numerous volunteer projects in the region forward in 2021 despite the pandemic.

Cohesion and commitment are important professional values in PKV. The company therefore welcomes all the more the fact that many colleagues are also intensively committed to good causes in their private lives. In the “PKV Extra” donation programme, which was launched for the first time in 2020, PKV provides annual funds to act as a donor or sponsor for projects in which employees are themselves active on a voluntary basis. It is also easy to apply for these grants via an app on the company’s own social intranet, and the award is decided by lot. In 2021, PKV was able to support a total of 13 projects at these associations, projects and institutions with the help of its employees:

  • Support Association of the Jaderberg Volunteer Fire Brigade
  • Action against heart fibrillation
  • Children’s Hospice Joshuas Engelreich
  • Support Association of the Secondary School Varel
  • Support Association of the Osterstraße Primary School (Varel)
  • Study Compass Friesland
  • DLRG Bockhorn/ Zetel
  • DRLG Varel
  • TuS Schwei
  • FCFW Zetel
  • Tus Varel 09
  • TV Neuenburg
  • BV Osterforde
